Please, read this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) carefully and ask questions where relevant. This Policy is provided by Quick expungement. It relates to the information we collect about you when you use the Quick expungement Mobile Application and any associated platform (collectively, the “Quick expungement App”). This Policy describes what we do with the personal information and other information we collect from you, including how we collect it, the reasons for collection, who has access to it, how we secure it and your rights and choices. This Policy should also be reviewed along with our Terms and Conditions, which governs how you use the Quick expungement App.
For the sake of this Policy, the meanings given to the following words will apply to them throughout the document: Information/data: Refers to any information about a user – be it personal information or non-personal information. Personal information: Refers to any identifying information about a user. In other words, any information that can be used to identify a user. Non-personal information: Refers to any information about a user that cannot identify such a user unless combined with other information You/your/user/: Refers to anyone using the Quick expungement App, including the User and lawyer. We/us/our: Refers to Quick expungement, the Quick expungement App provider who is your data controller. Information processing: Refers to any activity we carry out in relation to your information, including the disclosure, use, security, collection, etc. Data Controller: Refers to any company making decisions about how your information may be processed. In this case, Quick expungement .
There are two users on the Quick expungement App – the “Client” We collect the following information from you – regardless of the type of user – as described below: The Information You Willingly Provide to Us Personal information: When you use the Quick expungement App, as a Client, we collect personal information, such as your name, email address, payment details and mobile number. This information is collected to identify you from other users and contact you when necessary. Account informationWhen you request a user account on the Quick expungement App, you are required to submit the personal information described above, including your picture, location and other account information. This information will help us provide you with a user account that distinguishes you from other users. Payment information: : In order for us to process your payments (whether to pay your commissions, pay your security deposit, receive payments from a Client for expungement of your case), we will collect your payment information. Payment information may include your PayPal email or credit card details. Please note that if you submit credit card information to us, we will not save your CVV number on our database. Your card information will only be used to process your payments. Third Party Service Providers: We use the services of third party companies (“Service Providers”), such as Google, Apple, Firebase, AWS, GoDaddy, PayPal, Stripe and Cloudflare to perform certain tasks on our behalf, including email sending, app distribution, marketing, payment processing, data storage, web hosting and maintenance (for example, we use Google and Apple to distribute the Quick expungement App). These Service Providers may provide us with certain information in certain circumstances. For example, the app distributors may provide us with reports, which will help us diagnose and fix any issue with our services.
The information we collect above is used for specific purposes, as described in this Policy. We use the information we collect: To provide you with a user account, identify you from other users, and provide the Quick expungement App’s services to you. To contact you in relation to your use of the Quick expungement App, your transactions, administrative messages and respond to your queries and complaints. To verify any information you submit to us, such as when you request for a user account on the Quick expungement App. To monitor the transactions between you and another user in order to prevent fraud and other fraudulent activities, and to protect the rights and properties of other users and those of Quick expungement. To monitor your compliance with our Terms and Conditions and any applicable law that applies. To identify which part of the Quick expungement App or our services need to be reviewed and improved
We do not disclose any information about you to any third party unless as described in this Policy. We do not share, sell or transfer your information to any third party for their marketing purposes. Your information may only be shared with: Service Providers: When we use Service Providers, we are obligated to share certain information with them. Sometimes, Service Providers may need access to your information related to the task they are performing before they perform. Likewise, to store some of your data on AWS, the employee in charge of data storage on Amazon may have access to such information. However, we respect your privacy; we ensure Service Providers keep any information from us confidential, and they only use such information to carry out the task we hire them to perform. Not only that, but these Service Providers also are industry giants in their relevant industries. They also have strict compliance with relevant privacy laws, such as the GDPR and CCPA (Atlanta Consumer Privacy Act). Employees and the Quick expungement Family: Like Service Providers, we may employ individuals (employees) who may perform certain duties, such as monitoring services, data privacy, customer care services, etc. Some of these employees may have access to your information. For example, we may put an employee in charge of attending to user complaints. Such an employee may have access to your email address and any personal information you submit via the “Contact Us” form. However, employees also have strict obligations, through a Confidentiality Agreement, to keep user information confidential at all times. Other Users of the Quick expungement App: When user submit there expungement form , such a user will be provided with some of your personal information. They are provided with your information to facilitate the business relationship. However, only limited personal information about you needed to facilitate the relationship is provided to them. Likewise, if you submit expungement form on the Quick expungement App, Quick expunge will check your case in detail and proceed it to the court and may have access to any personal information available on it. Other Businesses during a Business Reorganization: Business Reorganization refers to business changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or consolidation. In such circumstances, we may share or disclose user information with the company or organization involved. For example, if Quick expungement were to be involved in a merger with another company, we may be required to share our users’ information with such a company. In this case, this Policy or the other company’s privacy policy may apply. However, this will be communicated to you, and you can make a choice about your consent. Law Enforcement: In order to comply with the law, we may disclose your information to any law enforcement or law agency for investigative purposes, including for breaches of applicable law or fraud. We may disclose information about you to law enforcement in response to court orders, subpoenas, and other investigative summonses. We may also disclose your information if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure will protect our rights and properties and those of other users or third parties.
Quick expungement cares about your privacy. We understand how important it is to keep any information you share with us confidential and secure from third party access and misuse. We employ many safeguards, including physical and technological safeguards, to ensure your information is safe. We do not sell or transfer your information to any third party for their marketing purposes except as described in section 5 above. We use KEY Encryption in our database, which improves our security posture against potential hacks, emerging cyber risks, or data leakage. Our servers are also hosted on secure servers, including on GoDaddy, Cloudflare and AWS (Amazon Web Services). Our domain has an SSL Certificate, which helps keep any message and information you share through the Quick expungement App private. However, you will agree that no form of online security is 100% safe. Technology advances every day; therefore, we cannot guarantee that only authorized persons will have access to your personal information. Quick expungement will not be liable for any access to your personal information due to technology breaches.
The Quick expungement App provides you with a rating and review system, where you are able to give feedback about a recent business interaction you have with another user (“Review”). Reviews are posted along with your name and any personal information you attach to it. Any user or visitor who visits that part of the Quick expungement App may have access to any personal information attached to your Review.
Rights :You have certain rights in regard to the information we hold and process about you. These rights include deleting, accessing or editing your personal information in our database. Upon your request to delete, edit or gain access to the personal information we hold about you, we will immediately act on your request. You can request to delete, edit or access the personal information we hold about you by using the edit or delete feature in your user account area. You can also make this request by sending us a message to support@jamarc224@gmail.com. Please, note that if you request the deletion of your personal information, the deletion will only take place 10 days after your request. We may also hold certain information about you (such as your transaction information, messages, reviews, service posts, etc.) for much longer. This may be for compliance with the law or the enforcement of our Terms and Conditions. If you are using the Quick expungement App from jurisdictions, such as the European Economic Area (“EEA”), European Union (“EU”), and Atlanta, you may have additional rights regarding how we process your information. EEA and EU subjects (users) may request (i) a restriction on certain processing, (ii) for a copy of the information we hold about them, and (iii) for other rights as established under the GDPR. Atlanta users, on the other hand, may exercise additional rights described under the CCPA section below. Choices: As a user of the Quick expungement App, you have certain choices regarding the type of communications you receive from us. Quick expungement may send you notifications to your email address and through push notifications on the Quick expungement App (when you grant us the permission). You may opt-out of receiving email messages related to messages from other users or offers from us. However, you may not be able to block administrative messages from us, such as changes to this Policy or your user account. Likewise, you reserve the right to block push notifications on the Quick expungement App by going through your mobile device’s app settings area.
This section applies to users in Atlanta. The CCPA that came into effect on January 1, 2020, gives Atlanta users the following rights in relation to the information we hold about them: The right to know the personal information we collected, disclosed or sold about you in the past 12 months, including the categories of personal information we hold, the purpose of collection and third parties we disclosed or sold them to. The right to access or request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. The right to request the deletion of certain information we hold about you. This right does not extend to information that we are required by law to retain. The right to opt-out of your personal information being sold. However, Quick expungement is not in the business of selling personal information. This makes this right void. The right to non-discrimination when you make the requests above. We will treat your request in accordance with our set principles. To exercise some of these rights, you may log in to your user account to make your request. You may also make a general request by sending us a mail to support@jamarc224@gmail.com. However, we may request an ID Verification in order to validate your request. Atlanta’s “Shine the Light” law permits Atlanta residents to request a copy of any third party with whom Quick expungement has shared their personal information for direct marketing purposes. The personal information under this paragraph applies to the personal information shared in the previous calendar year. As already established above, Quick expungement is not in the business of selling or transferring information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Quick expungement provides the Quick expungement App from our base of operation in the US. By submitting personal information through the Quick expungement App, you agree that it will be processed on our servers in the US. Also, our Service Providers are scattered across all continents and may process your personal information in accordance with the laws of their location, which may not provide adequate security as the privacy laws in your location. However, any information we collect about you will be processed in accordance with this Policy. When we transfer personal information about users in the EU and EEA communities, we will ensure the transfer is made according to the GDPR rules – using standard contract clauses.
Unless you request the deletion of your personal information and your user account, we will retain the information we hold about you for as long as your user account is active.
The Quick expungement App may contain links or adverts that lead to third party websites or apps. Such links are not controlled by Quick expungement – nor are they governed by this Policy. Any such links you access from the Quick expungement App, including any personal information you submit to such links, will be at your sole risk. Ensure you read the privacy policies of any website or app such links lead to. We will not be liable to you for any loss of data from any third party links or adverts you click on the Quick expungement App.
The Quick expungement App and our marketplace are not intended nor directed at persons under 13 years of age. This is why Quick expungement does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from users under 13 years of age. By submitting personal information to us, you hereby represent that you are at least 13 years of age.
Quick expungement may review any portion of this Policy and make changes to such a portion. Changes made to such a portion may be as a result of changes in privacy laws or certain features of the Quick expungement App or our services. Any changes intended for this Policy will be effective when the Effective Date above changes. We have the right, but not the obligation, to send you notices about any changes intended for this Policy. Notwithstanding, you are required to frequently review this Policy for changes. By using the Quick expungement App after any changes to this policy, you consent to such changes.
